H earts are happy filled with love because you light our way
A nd you taught us optimism is the order of the day.
P roud to be our mother, you're a mom beyond compare
P lus now you're doing it over again, with Madi and Cam – what a pair!
Y ou're our best friend who never stops, a mom, a nurse, a wife

M otherhood is your passion, despite all the demands in your life.
O nly you could raise four kids and do it with such ease
T he energy is endless, as each child with joy you please.
H aving such a vibrant mom whose young and cool is great
E very time we need advice, you're there to set us straight.
R unning all the errands, watching ballgames, cook for friends
S omehow you seem to do it all, with love that never ends.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

I know we mean the world to you, you've made that crystal clear
You'd give us anything we want, but that's not what keeps us near.
We know you've spoiled us rotten - but there's more than meets the eye
You were always there for Jen and me and not just a dad on the fly.
You gave us our roots and you gave us our wings
And you always made sure we have the best that life brings.
Mart, it's important to let you know love and gratitude overflow
Instilling knowledge and morals and strength have helped us both to grow.
I attribute the success I have today to the seeds that you planted in youth
To grow into a man of integrity, trustworthy - a seeker of truth.
You never missed a game of mine since the time I was 8 years old
And I love how we honor our differences - you're a thinker while I can be bold.
You'd sacrifice the world for us and give us the shirt off your back
(I hope that buying Jen's new BMW won't cause you to live in a shack!)
We're so fortunate you're still here for us - to talk on the phone everyday
To give us advice and wisdom to still help us on our journey's way.
Every day should be Father's Day to honor the hero you are
And in all of the world there's no greater dad - in our hearts you're always the star!
