Graduations

BFF's Forever - Time to Say Goodbye

To my favorite peeps, the Lady Birds it's time for us to part
May 17th we graduate, a new journey we shall start.
We're closer than a family and we had so much fun
Whether hangin' out together or late night parties after one.
Ali back in Chappaqua our friendship first was born
With Neman our 6th member -he's loved and is well worn.
We met the other Lady Birds Warren Towers - freshmen year
We've been through everything together you are all so dear.
Eerie Pennsylvania Kathryn you're their shining star
International relations in your field you will go far.
"Thailand's ice cream", "do it", "girl" the phrases I will miss
Riding bikes together you on Ishmael - sheer bliss!
Maria you're our New York Greek my other half, my wife
Choose music or work for your father, you'll have success in life.
"Sagapo" I love you watching "Friends" won't be the same
These past four years together in my mind it's one freeze frame.
Ali you're the neat freak, story teller extraordinaire
To international relations you'll bring such a special flair.
Enjoying our gelato, tales of Paris you would share
It's hard to say goodbye God speed, you know how much I care.
Tracy smart and organized - not like me at all
You know you are my girl crush and for you I'd always fall.
No worries 'bout the future - what recession pay no need
As a graduate of SMG you know you will succeed.
As for me I'll be a diplomat - or actress - I don't now
I'll carry you deep in my heart no matter where I go.
So here's to us The Lady Birds - college grads at last
We all have cherished memories of four years a part of our past.
We'll attend each other's weddings - no ugly dresses please
And when we're fat and pregnant - each other we will tease.
Aunties to our children - the best is yet to be
Lady Birds Forever - what a lucky me.
No one knows for certain what the future now may hold
One thing that is for certain we'll be friends as we grow old.
With my love

From proud parents to their son, the graduate:

"You know the plans I have for you, I formed your every part
I covered you in mother's womb and knew you from the start."
(Jeremiah 29:11 & Psalm 139)

To Erik our beloved son on graduation day
Your dad and I so proud of you, much more than words can say.
You've always been a joy to us, your values straight and true
We know that you will find success in everything you do.
A miracle, God healed your life, when you were 8 years old
You've grown up to be a treasure - a wonder to behold.
At 6'4 a gentle giant, charismatic full of grace
Possessing warmth and kindness, moral compass right in place.
Dean's list, music, drama, sports, like Pedro you're the star
With all your many talents, we know that you'll go far.
They call you 'mayor' you're so well loved, consistent have no doubt
Live from your heart, be confident, God's Voice always wins out.
Your family ties secure you, you have roots and now you'll soar
A blessing to this world you bring, you're goodness to your core.
Stonehill won't be quite the same but WB Mason is so blessed
To receive a talented graduate whose passed life's every test.

Congratulations With Love
