Mary's journey is featured in "Not The Career I Ordered", Caroline Dowd Higgins' blog and will be included in her soon to be released book of the same name.

On July 31, from 12 noon to 5 pm, please join 'Team McManus' at 30 Eliot Street, Chestnut Hill, MA as they host a fund raiser, "Not Your Average Yard Sale"  to benefit Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts Foundation. Tom is running the Falmouth Road Race in their honor.

Mary has been selected as an exceptional woman for Magic 106.7's Exceptional Women Show. Magic 106.7 is Boston's #1 FM radio station. Thank you Candy OTerry and the producers of Exceptional Women. Mary will be interviewed on August 12th. Stay tuned for air date.

Mary will be returning to the Jordan Rich Show on 8/7 at the midnight hour to launch her new book, "Set Sail for a New World:Healing a Life Through The Gift of Poetry. You can purchase your autographed copy of "Set Sail" along with Mary's first book of inspirational poetry, "New World Greetings" through this website. Allow messages of love, light, hope and healing to permeate your soul as you read Mary's poetry.

On August 4th, Mary will be inspiring future Speech and Language Pathologists as she shares her healing journey at the Mass. General Hospital Institute of Health Professions.

On August 14th, Laurel Labdon, Ms. Massachusetts Wheelchair and Executive Director of Studio on Slough has invited Mary to do a poetry reading for the opening reception of the show, "The Evolution of Images:  Gifts and Bounty from the Earth."  Be sure to check out their website along with the website of Ms. Massachusetts Wheelchair 

New World Greeting Cards is proud to be an exhibitor at the Boston Greenfest 2010 August 19-21. Mary will also be sharing her journey of healing and her health and wellness strategies as an inspirational speaker at the event. Details to follow...

On September 7, at 7 pm EST, host Jay Earley will interview Mary on his show Millionaires in Action  as she shares her journey from post polio survivor to poet and Boston Marathon finisher.

Save the date October 24 from 2-4 pm when Mary returns to Wonderland Books, 120 Main Street, Putnam, CT for a book signing of her books of inspirational poetry. Thank you Patty, owner of Wonderland Books for hosting Mary on World Polio Day!

On November 2, Dr. Bernie Siegel has invited Mary to return as a guest to share her gift of poetry and healing journey on Mind Health Matters, Healthylifestyle.net radio.

Bernie Siegel, MD has asked Mary for her inspirational and healing poetry to be included in a book of poetry to help others heal their lives. The book of poetry by Bernie and friends will be published by Rosenberry Books

On November 7, New World Greeting Cards is proud to be an exhibitor at the Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts Pageant. Mary will be selling her books of inspirational poetry, providing information about Rotary International's End Polio Now Campaign and sharing her portfolio of original poetry she can create just for you! She is excited to be a part of the pageant festivities which crowns the spokesperson for people with mobility impairment in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts goes on to compete in Ms. Wheelchair America which helps to promote awareness, ability, and advocacy for those with mobility impairments in the United States.

On July 16th, Mary was the guest on the Sandra Anne Daly Show Successfully MidAir  on Talkshoe Radio. You can listen to the inspirational archive as Mary and Sandra talk about taking that leap of faith and what it is like to be Successfully in Mid Air.

Mary was one of six finalists for Brookline Woman of the Year. The Brookline Commission for Women honored Mary at their ceremony in March 2009 as part of the Women Who Inspire Us celebration.
