Upcoming Events:

Mary has been invited by Deutches Altenheim German Centre for Extended Care and Susan Bailis House Assisted Living for monthly poetry readings to bring her gift of inspirational poetry to their residents.

On August 29th, Mary has been invited for a return engagement to Boylston Place assisted living facility. http://www.epochsl.com/boylston_home.html to share her gift of poetry with the residents and to also hear the poetry written by members of the Chestnut Hill Poetry Society, as the residents refer to themselves.

On October 13, 2008, Mary and her daughter Ruth Anne will be joining
tens of thousands of women to celebrate women and fitness at the annual
Tufts 10K Road Race.  Why not join them?

A benefit concert to raise monies for Team McManus and the Race for Rehab is  scheduled for December 12th from 7-9 pm. Click on the Road to the Boston Marathon tab for details.

Team McManus is planning to run in Bill Rodgers Jingle Bell Run 5K on December 13th.

The wonderful acapella group, Ball In The House http://www.ballinthehouse.com/ has agreed to do a benefit concert for Team McManus.  Details to follow.

Josh Golder, www.joshgolder.com was the guest from 10-11.  Mary was the featured guest with Jordan during the 11 to midnight hour. She shared her amazing journey of faith, inspiration, hope and healing, read from her book, "New World Greetings:Inspirational Poetry and Musings for a New World" and shared with Jordan her journey from social worker to poet, from polio survivor to marathon runner. On July 16th, 2008, Mary volunteered at the West Haven VA Medical
Center, West Haven, CT to share her inspirational journey of hope and
healing with veterans at the West Haven VA.Check out rave reviews to
read what one of the veterans had to say about her poetry.  Her poem "Nighttime Reflection" is being used by the staff in the nursing home care unit/palliative care unit, to help veterans unwind before going to sleep!

On July 28th, if you were unable to listen live to "It's All About You" on blogtalk radio, no worries!  You can go to the interview tab and listen to an hour of inspiration as Mary shared her miraculous recovery from post polio syndrome. Mary also shared how she created New World Greeting Cards and became a published poet.
